Artist description Driven by the song writing of guitarist Stephen Clemmer, Downtown Crossing sets out to seduce its audience with a brand of melodic pop rock reminiscent of the sound of clothes hitting the floor. Ken Quam on drums and Joe Huettner on bass combine to form a tight rhythmic duo paving the way for Jordan Weaver’s subtle, classic-rock-influenced guitar lines. Downtown Crossing’s distinctive sound stands apart as a unique blend of poetry set to pop rock. All the members of Downtown Crossing have recently been involved in local recording projects. Downtown Crossing is expanding its fan base, setting up a fall tour in the Boston area, while simultaneously striving to saturate local and college radio. Their collective ambition has led all four to serious study at the Berklee College of Music.
