Artist History Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Christy moved to San Diego in 1994 to persue singing. Distracted by the desire to get an education, she graduated from SDSU and then returned to music with a passion to create the sounds that she grew up loving. Influenced by her father, an avid music lover, she grew up listening to the likes of The Band, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Carly Simon, Linda Rondstat, The Eagles, Janis Joplin (whom she covers live) and many of the other greats of that time.
