Artist History Monkey Hat started out with Logan and Bobby playing music together inside eachother bedrooms. They soon decided to make a band out of it hiring Ben (an old friend) on the drums and Matt Ingram playing the guitar, with Bobby on the guitar and Logan singing. One day during their first show Ben didnt make it to the show at the time so they asked Jason which happened to be at the show at that time to fill in. They completely improved the whole show and they even had an old man singing song on stage with that towards the end. Soon Matt and Ben would depart from the band and Monkey Hat would thrive as a 3 peice until they met thier good friend Danny (me) which was playing with BigSpin at the time. They soon asked him to join the band as their bassist and on March 8, 03' Danny had officially joined Monkey Hat playing his first show with them at Chisholm Trail Park. To this day Monkey Hat still plays shows all around the local scene and have shared the stage with many local bands such as Corbin, 12sb, Status, BigSpin, A Different Breed of Cat, DFF, Censored Nation and many other local bands from all around.
