Artist description Special 8 is a Stockholm based band that consists of four members. Their musical style has been compared to bands such as R.E.M., Pavement, Flaming Lips and more.

Artist History Been in bands such as All But Me, Plastic People, Cellfish, Ante & Co, Coffee Shop, Waterbugs, Flying Soul Experience. The story begins way back in 1992 and the current constellation have been together for the past two years.

Group Members Olle W. Stråhle: vocals, guitar. Mattias Nordström: guitars, piano, trumpet, accordion, harmonica. Mattias Rooth: Drums, percussion. Alexander Pontikis: bass, piano, backing vox, guitar, saxophone.
