Artist description
Seriously Blue epitomise easy listening loungecore; smooth, cool with a great vibe and a magnetic appeal. Their first album 'The Lover's Lounge' came out at the start of this year. Their second CD 'The Zero Summer' came out in July this year. It's an entire album's worth of songs and tunes that will form the soundtrack to Summer 2000. Nothing old, a lot new, a few ideas borrowed, a little bit blue. Such a musical undertaking does not come about lightly. This album has been a labour of love, crafted and worked on tirelessly throughout the spring and early summer of the new millennium's first year. The hallmark of 'The Zero Summer' has been an increasing collaboration between Seriously Blue's two founder members Andy Hitchcock and Rob Tomlinson. The band have also been joined by sax supremo Angus Northeast on two tracks. Listen to tracks on this page or click the link to buy 'The Zero Summer', the great new album from Seriously Blue. |
