Artist History Monochrome Blau, formerly known as Disappearer, is a project from Stuttgart, Germany. It started in 1995 as a minimalistic post-punk band with a kind of hypnotic, late Velvet Underground-sound which impressed the listeners at some more or less legendary gigs in 1995.After several changes of its membership, the group decided to record some of the old songs in new arrangements and some newer ones in 1998. The remaining two members of the group had the intention to set the early poems of Justin Larutan to music.
