Artist description
Proverbs 13:7
There is one who pretends to be rich, but has nothing.
Another pretends to be poor, but has great wealth.
A man who redefines himself to say the least.
Luke has been writing music for nearly ten years.
He is mostly an indoor writer in that he doesn't travel
or play music full time. He realizes the importance of a quiet
setting, a still place to truly hear the true words.
He invites you to join in spirit and truth while God
reveals himself to you, for his incessant praise and glory. |

I first met Luke Carter about 5 years ago, when he had just turned 17. Luke was a shy, introspective young man at that time, who came to my recording studio and asked me to make some recordings of his original music. I set Luke down with his acoustic guitar in front of a high-grade studio microphone, and asked him to do his thing. When Luke began to play and sing his songs, I was immediately taken by the imagery conjured by his lyrics and the originality of his acoustic guitar and vocal performance. Even at 17 Luke Carter sounded like no one else.
In the next two years I recorded and produced Luke’s first master recordings, which became the collection of songs now entitled “Heather”. In the years since he began recording at my studio, his performances both on guitar and vocals have improved with each new session. His songwriting abilities have blossomed and soon the world will hear and see the fruition of Luke Carter’s efforts. I am currently producing a brand new master recording for Luke Carter’s new compact disc. These all digital recordings are superior in both sound and content and will herald his coming of age in the world of acoustic/alternative music. This is stuff the world needs to hear.
Luke’s music offers new hope and a positive message to not only his peers but to people of all ages. His sensitive, uplifting vocal arrangements, coupled with clever, heartfelt acoustic guitar playing in a variety of tunings and keys make a marriage of imagery and melody that is completely original. In short, Luke Carter sounds like no one else. I have seen the development of this unique talent at close intimate range. I have felt the power of Luke’s artistic vision. If Luke plays in your town, go see him, and you will feel the power too.
