Artist History
While still in College, Scott Rieger began writing and recording pop songs with classically trained vocalist Pam Wilson. Soon after, Mike Kelleher and Craig Comperatore joined the band and the four college friends began playing parties and local clubs under the name Flour. After a year and a half of experimenting with some hit and miss originals, and a handful of trust covers, the band matured and discovered its "sound," as well as the fact that there were three other bands named Flour. In November of 1996, the band officially changed its name to Humdaisy . Now a college radio favorite with an ever expanding fan base, Humdaisy has been playing clubs and festivals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is one of Philly's up and coming young talents. In April of 1998, Humdaisy independently released its debut album "Deflowered." Shortly following the release, the band added guitarist Bryan McKenna (formerly of the Spinning Jennys and Chuckle Patch)) to the Line up. The addition of Bryan's guitar and vocals have allowed Humdaisy to complete its sound. |
