Artist description
HayWire. The name says so much in so many ways, and yet says nothing. These are indeed some odd people, truly a group of haywire individuals. But that's not all. The music is very obviously influenced by cowboy music from all over the world, from the high steppes of Mongolia to the low Sonoran desert. Music of and for the hay. But that, of course, is still not all. HayWire is not afraid of electronics. They may even devolve to using a drum machine eventually, losing some of their current folky sound. These guys use wires for all kinds of stuff. And that is, believe it or not, not all that's in the name, but we leave it for you to discern, as we are running out of space. |
