Artist description Broncin' BOBBY buck Bull-Stud KAHLER Began His MusicalCareer in 1971 at the age of 13 with the Acoustic Power Trio named The CORROSIVE BROTHERS, playing songs on His Violin From "The Grateful Dead"; Emerson Lake and Palmer; Dave Mason; Hot Tuna; Merle Haggard; The EAGLES; Pure Prairie League; Doc Watson: Rolling Stones; Hank Williams; Doug Kershaw; Charlie Daniels; Rolling Stones; Beatles; Etc, etc. While attending and performing with Carson Jr. High and Westwood High School Symphony Orchestras, In Mesa, Az.In 1975-76 Bobby Kahler Hooked up with Prolific Songwriter Craig Summers, and the Two created the Popular and Original Music Duo, Summers And Kahler- they flourished from 1977 to 1987 Touring through the United States at Various Concert Venues performing Opening acts for national artists such As: Taj Mahal; Jerry Jeff Walker; Asleep at the Wheel; FireFall; Firesign Theatre; The Tubes; The Amazing Kreskin; Mel Tillis; Emmy Lou Harris; EarlThomas Conley; Ronnie Milsap; Lacy J. Dalton, Tom Rush; They also appeared regularly on over 35 PBS affiliates in the early eighties as part of the Music series SOUNDSTAGE directed by Dave "Sneak Previews” Erdman (later to Become Siskel & Ebert).Also during The late Seventies, Bobby Kahler toured the USA with The "Jay Boy Adams" band out of Lubbock Texas, Managed By Bill Hamm andAssociates (ZZ Tops Management) it was during this Tour He Performed atCarnegie Hall, in NY City opening the Show for Joe Cocker. Upon returning to Tucson, AZ. Bobby was then Picked up By Veronique Sanson (ex-Wife of Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young)to record on her 7th album on the W.E.A. Label and Tour Europe in 1989. He returned to AZ to form several other projects all of which concentrated on Original material. The BUCKSTUD Project is the Latest effort to date, featuring a Myriad of Music from the Past& Present."BUCKSTUD" is an abbreviation of " Broncin Bobby Buck Bull-Stud Kahler" a Moniker bestowed upon Bobby by Musician/Singer Brian O'Carroll. The Band BuckStud is a conglomeration of Musicians who have contributed their Own original works to create the Varied Styles and sounds that is Uniquely known as BUCKSTUD.
