Artist History
Began playing open mic's in Chicago around 1978. Played lots of college coffeehouses and bars in Wisconsin, with Kathryn Jeffers, in the 1980's and also was in Heartland band, a central Wisconsin Country/Bluegrass band. Some WI. gigs include being opening act for Claudia Schmidt; opened for several gay acts such as Tom Wilson and Romanofsky & Phillips; 1985 moved back to Chicago & played at Mountain Moving Coffeehouse several times as solo act as well as with some short lived bands with Sharon Karp, Ella Szekely and Lori Lee Moses. Joined Paula Walowitz for several gigs and for a cut on Paula's "Last Night at Mountain Moving" Coffeehouse cassette tape. From time to time I play at Jennifer Trowbridge's Guitar Studio and at Hoxie's on Lawrence Ave. Enjoy taking guitar/songwriting classes at Old Town School of Folk Music. |
