Artist History Originally from southern California, Amelia started writing songs at the age of eight. Started attempting to play the guitar simply to accompany herself. Tried to start a rock band in California, but advice was to go to Nashville. She ended up in Louisiana; a day's drive from Nashville and a whole lot less expensive to live in. Now plays the songwriter-friendly venues around Shreveport.
