Artist description
A band that never fit into a category, from beautiful warm melodies to uncomfortable sadness,
brutal anger with an unimaginable intensity, giving all that they are...
Imperfect has come into its own, touching the stage and instantly charging the air
with emotion, every song is a journey through each member's deepest personal thoughts.
Whether it is through pain, happiness, triumph, or defeat, Imperfect gives all that they
are to be where they are and will not stop until they get where they want to be.

Artist History
In 1994, when he was 12 years old, Scott Smith formed a band called Hybrid.
About a year later the singer and bassist parted ways with the band and
Scott Smith (guitar) and Mike O'Ferril (drums) continued to play for a few years
while trying to find a singer that was well suited to their style of music.
By this time Scott was 17 years old and his best friend Sean Mockler finally
convinced him to let him try out to be the singer in the band. Sean blew Scott
and Mike away with his vocals and was instantly asked to be the singer in the
still unnamed band. A short time later Sean came up with the name for the band,
they were to be called Imperfect. Mike left the band about three months later due
to personal problems. Scott and Sean, the core of Imperfect, started their tedious
search for a drummer who would fit their unique creative and emotional style. Sean
and Scott promised to do some cover songs for a local party and they enlisted the help
of Scott's best friend Donald Rosner who is an incredible drummer. He was currently
playing in the band Mob Riot, now Avery. A few months after the show Mob Riot's guitarist
and bassist moved away and Donald was asked to join Imperfect. He accepted on a temporary
basis and quickly decided that Imperfect was where he belonged, Sean and Scott felt the same.
The following year Jason Prey finally ended the search for a permanent bassist |
