Artist History Hi. My name is DJ Puncher (Vova). I am 23 years old, from Lvov, Ukraine. As I remember it has all begun in 1997, when DJ Tee & me got a Music maker. Everything was simple just put loops together like u want. Easy. Interesting. It is was the beginning. But we always had questions - how is it working? How to make your own loops, your own combinations? This was really interesting. Later I gave Making Wave to DJ Tee on his Birthday. We started making simple sounds, beats etc. We started learning what is delay, reverb, echo, distortion and other shit . After was Rebirth, loads of rubbish and of course the Reason-respect. We tried to make music together for a couple of years. Later our opinions about music changed and our styles too. DJ Tee is making Hip Hop & Drum/n/Bass at present. As a big fan of electronic music I continue to make Trance. In 2000 I tried to make something with DJ Spicke but it has not bring any results. I also have been training 3 years in Thai boxing, kickboxing and boxing. My nickname was DJ Warrior. In 2001 I ran out of money. I decided to go and try to find some luck abroad. I left all at home-friends, little doggie, girlfriend and went to London with 2 bags in my hands. Bloody hell. It was fucking (excuse me for my French) hard. Just u and this dirty, angry world against u. I have found kind people rather soon. I started boxing in the local gym. There I met Ronald, Viga, Andrey(WBU intercontinental light heavyweight champion of the world), Serjoga, Myron, Vovchik, Denny Williams(WBO intercontinental heavyweight champion of the world) and others. These guys are my best friends now. Then Alex(my ex-manager) gave me the KORG TRINITY V3 WORKSTATION. My first synth. It was the beginning for me. I had 4 boxing fights. Later…Later gym has closed. After that was Smal Vovka, Krab Serjoga, Dimka, Kosmos Nazar, Gitler and others who have helped me as well. After I met Tonya who is my wife at present. In 2003 I bought a PC, Pentium 4, based on Audigy 2 soundcard. I installed Reason 2.5, FL Studio, Sound Forge, T-Racks, Cubase, Wavelab, Acid 4 and much more. I have changed my nickname to DJ Puncher. U know why ;).. My life like a soundtrack. I love music and I like to make it. It is up to u to accept my music or decline. Your propositions, projects, mixes are welcome. My favourite DJs are: DJ Tomcraft, DJ Hooligan (Da Hool), the Father or Techno-Trance-Electro Westbam, Marusha, Kai Tracid, Mark Spoon, DJ Tiesto, Faithless, Cosmic Gate, RMB, Space Frog.
