Artist History
Distant Skies was formed from the broken remains of a band called Blue Star Memorial. On July 6, 2003 Chris was talking to Chad and he was saying how he misses being in a band...They both had the desire to play another show, and record a lil, so they put on a "last show" for BSM and recorded a 3 song "Goodbye Demo" and then they started to get together and jam...You know; just for fun...Andrew (Chris' little brother) started to "jam" with them too...And one day they decided that they should start a new band together...All they needed was a singer, and they knew just where they could get one....Christian Jensen (Former singer for BSM) a longtime friend of the band...Ok well they have know Christian for just a little over months, but they have all became great friends through their old band BSM....So they called Christian with the crazy idea to start a new band, and he loved the idea. Thus Distant Skies was formed. |
