Artist description
This latest version of The Deep End has developed a funky South Florida sound that combines the realms of the Southern Rock, Blues, Country, and Jazz. The band taps into a variety of great artists, and always adds their own funky twist to their selections, including their own original material. To the bands credit, they’ve opened for well known artists such as Poco, Firefall, and Sean Costello. Their CD features original cuts like “Without You”, “Blackcat Crossing”, and “Don’t Talk”, along with their own distinctive renditions of “Wild Nights and “Feelin’ Alright”. They’ve backed up such notables as Geoff Achison, and Albert Cummings, with solid grooves laid down from the rhythm section, rippin’ guitar , and down home-smooth vocals.
The Deep End‘s 2002-2003 schedule has brought them to a variety of South Florida’s favorite venues and special events like City Link Beer Fest 2003, Frannipalooza 2003, Harbor Pavilion Blues Bash 2002/2003, Alligator Alley Anniversary Party, Beale Street Bar & Grill, Fast Times Bar & Grille, Lulu’s Bait Shack, Tobacco Road, Last Call Lounge, & Cheers, Harbor Grille, and Tugboat Annie’s, Beach Place 911 Benefit.
Bookings are handled by the band, and they can be set up for any venue, club, party, or festival event in the South Florida Tri-County area complete with PA and lights if needed. We have an extensive e-mail list of people who want to know about every gig. Prior to every show we send out notices that contain directions and links to the gigs. Our following starts with our friends, and others that we’ve met at our gig spots around town, including members of The South Florida Blues Society.

Press Reviews
One of the mainstream blues/rock groups in the South Florida Blues Society.
SFBS.
Geoff Achison and “The South Florida Soul Diggers”, (Jim Madden on Guitar, Richie Goldman on Bass, Bobby G. on Keys, Pete Stefani on Drums, and special guest John Harris on Harp) performed at 2003 Frannipalooza, and Fast Times Lounge with the renowned Australia artist.
There was also a flight down to Florida where I discovered a band of Souldiggers hitherto unknown to the civilized world. I must have looked at them as if ’d had my bagels cut … but they knew the stuff and we jammed all night long, brushed our teeth, had 3 hours sleep and flew back to Atlanta ....
