The live players bring their own fingerprints to the songs in the live incarnation. Noelle's constant, but subtle, acoustic guitar fills the songs with round chords and bluesy solo work. Jerry's keyboard work brings sophistication to the songs with rich textures and spacey sounds. Barnaby's skills on bass recreate Lopez' compositions perfectly with funky sounds stemming from r&b, rock, and, surprisingly, punk.
