Artist History
Emerging from Southern California, onepoundpenny offers music lovers a taste in variety.
This Los Angeles based band combines the musical sounds of rock, reggae, punk, and hip-hop. Their tasteful arrangement of melodies and harmonies has been compared to the sounds of Sublime, 311 and RUN DMC.
This hi energy foursome captivates audiences everywhere with their sing along styles
and musical freedom. Front-man Clint Cebulak brings his one-of-a-kind vocal styling full force. Singing and rapping clever lyrics that compliment perfectly with his catchy riffs and raw lead lines. Turntablist, Reckless adds the flavor of an old school DJ, mixing up cuts and jabs like no other. All the while, laying down the low-end rhythm, Brian McKenzie brings a furious finger method producing phat elaborate bass lines. Drummer Bobby Sledge keeps it all going with sick beats that are so tight they’re bound to bob your head and lift you off of your feet.
As a group, onepoundpenny strives to break the mold of the norm. As individuals, the boys work diligently to expand musical horizons and truly seek a greater understanding of their own musical ability. You can catch this guys playing all over Southern California as they continue to rock endlessly. The word is out and the fans keep multiplying. You down with OPP?
