Artist description
Formed in early 2003, this rock quartet ups the ante and raises the bar for high school bands now and forever. Sick of mediocre, uninformed acts that have represented the high school music scene as passing fads that last long enough only to play the same 4-power-chord riff, these four musicians have come together on a mission to inject the all-ages crowd with quality rock and roll that brings depth and awe back into the arena. Relying more on the epic feel obtained by intense crescendos and dynamic flows throughout a longer and more profound song, Epicenter has molded a poetic and ominous touch into a gigantic sound; they are always looking to pound a huge, anthem-like riff through the air. During performances, such as at Issaquah and Liberty High Schools, covers as well as original songs were played to crowds near 800. Playing at these shows with Epicenter were bands such as Soybomb, Nonexistence, Off-Centered, The Essentials and The Lime |
