Artist description
Desert Ethic is the product of two individuals situated in the dust and dirt of Nolan County in West Texas. The duo formed in early 2002 and began work almost immediately on a whole slew of songs during weekly 'living-room' writing and recording sessions. Over the course of a year, the combination of two completely different musical backgrounds fused together into some coherent yet fragmented, relentless and energetic rock and roll. A variety of influences between the two members include the old and the new of both mainstream and independent rock including The Clash, Cursive, Deep Purple, Rival Schools, Jimi Hendrix, and Modest Mouse. |
