Daud is a singer, composer & poet. He did learn since his youth the art of Sufi signing with some of the Maestros of the East. He compose, sing, arrange his own music. He is able to play many electronic & acoustic instruments. Guided by a deep inspiration an a solid craft or poetry, Daud tailor his lyrics under the shadow of love's tree. Daud is a master of Sufi music which art has been share with both musical cultures, Eastern & Western traditions. He is releasing now some electronic tracks: fruit ot time, sweat, craft, love, insomnia & tears. |

Artist History
Born prematurely along a trip of his mother to Alexandria, Egypt, Daud has been raised in Turkey, Mexico & California. He has bee a musician in the classical style since he was a child. He has sung since his early youth at almost every American style of singing, as well. He has professional studies of musical composition in the West. He has been disciple of the Sufi Master Muhibbi al Jerraji, from whom he receive the art of Sufi music. Living permanently is USA since 15 years ago he has tried several ventures in music: ethnic, world beat, fusion, dance, electronica & theater music. He perform regulary at Sufi devotional circles, but the sky is the ceiling of the temple within of which is song spings. |
