Artist description A fresh new approach of acoustic pop, is the exciting sound of B's Basement. These five talented musicians from Columbus, Ohio have honed their talents in the “B” for Brunetto basement of lead singer Dante and drummer Joey Brunetto. What started as a gathering of musicians jamming, quickly became a solid musical group with original compositions, an audience of all ages, and a brand new recording entitled “Motionless”. Dante and Joey come from a musically based family. Manager of the band and uncle to Dante and Joey, Rick Brunetto is a professional musician and leads his own very successful big band called the Rick Brunetto Big Band. Joe Brunetto, Rick's twin brother and father to Dante and Joey, played the piano and vocals while touring with a band, Raintree, when he was younger. He is currently playing in Rick’s big band. In addition to brothers Dante and Joey, are lead guitarist James Loy, bassist Kyle Chamberlain, and saxophonist/pianist Beej Yurkovich. When these guys get together the motion doesn’t stop and the house rocks! Their debut album, Motionless, features eight original compositions written by the band, with lyrics by Dante Brunetto. Their brand new 2003 album titled "Head First", which consists of 14 original compositions, is set to come out by the end of ocotber 2003. B’s Basement has already entertained audiences at Red, White and Boom in front of thousands, Comfest, the Columbus Italian Festival, as well as numerous parties and fundraisers in central Ohio including a political fundraiser for Attorney General, Jim Petro. A tight blend of acoustic and electric guitars, bass, saxophone, drums, and solid vocals, they can cover tunes from “Brown Eyed Girl”, to “Margaritaville”, to John Mayer, Dave Matthews, and their own original songs. B’s Basement is sure to please and is quickly becoming a central Ohio favorite. They are available for parties, dances, concerts, and will make your event a hit with all ages.
