Artist History
born and raised in troy new york, brendan grew up listening to the 60s pop and folk of his parents' generation. classics by simon and garfunkel, van morrison, joni mitchell, cat stevens and the beach boys were always in rotation at home. quickly finding his own music niche, he grew quite fond of brit rock of radiohead and the the rest of england attempting to sound like radiohead... periods of wavering left him embracing the thumping beats of techno and at time a bit of old school rap (no, seriously a trie called quest is very very good music). He has ventured since into the world in which he grew up, finding some of his biggest influences to be cat stevens, the beatles, the beach boys and other classic pop and folk artists. Currently brendan most enjoys the sounds of beck, wilco, guster, radiohead and damien rice. brendan is most at home with current folk and intelligent pop. today brendan is studying the ancient art of philosophy at boston university and like peanut butter and nantucket nectars orange mango juice beverage. |
