Artist History Born 2 Di, a.k.a. BlessedChild, a.k.a. Dishon Knox, was born in Chicago, IL and gave his life to the Lord at the ripe age of 13. Going into high school BC was subjected to a lot of peer pressure and didn't have the type of guidance that young Christians truly need. BC found himself a lukewarm Christian, torn between serving the Lord and sekeing to be the popular guy at school. Torn between serving two masters, BC put the Lord on the back burner for a while and found himself engaging in unwholesome relationships with females and just frankly being a modern day Pharisee by talking bout holiness while taking no steps towards living it. Fortunately BC had a praying mother and friends who helped draw him back into that marvelous light. After truly recomitting his life to the Lord and being filled with the Holy Ghost on Jan. 13, 2002 BC started moving towards godly living. Granted there were a few rough spots at the beginning, but the lord has made BC more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Since then BC has been pressing on to become the young man that the Lord has commissioned him to be, by the power of the Holy Ghost. BC fell in love with Christian Hip Hop via Cross Movement and had been writing Christian poetry even through his tribulations. He soon desired to be able to glorify God through rap and prayed that the Lord would send the talent one day. Finally the Lord blessed that on Jan. 1st in the wee hours of the morning BC wrote his first rhyme at the Intervasity Christian Fellowships's Atlanta Conference. Ever since then BC has been writing and recently started making his own beats. BC plans to rap for the Lord until the Lord comes back or until he can't talk anymore (In which case he'll either be dead or rapping in sign language). The name BlessedChild da ArmorBearer comes from the fact that no matter what life has handed him BC knew that he was a blessed child of God nad that he feels that he has the character of a hype man. BC never feels like he needs to be directly in the spotlight or gettin pub, but will go out of his way to help his close friends and family get to whatever spotlight they seek, thus making BC a supporter of his peeps, down for whatever is holy to help others prosper, kinda like David before he became king, an armor bearer. Being fairly new to the game BC still has a lot to learn about Hip Hop, but serving the only wise God, it'll come to him as it needs to. Just continue to pray for his spiritual well being and his ministry on and off the mic. God Bless.
