Artist History
Ephemeral Sun was formed during the summer of 2002 by Charles Gore, Tim Miller, Jason Wood and John Battema as an opportunity to explore more adventurous songwriting than had been possible with prior bands. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds and experience with metal, prog rock, jazz, blues, fusion, electronica, classical and world music, the group quickly began to create musical pieces that defy easy categorization.
As the material took shape vocalist Laurie Ann Haus was tapped to complete the tapestry with her ethereal singing style. Although she had already demonstrated her skills with various other ensembles, Ephemeral Sun will be the first time she assumes the role of lead vocalist. |
