Artist History Doubledge is a Christian rock band called by God and founded by Efrain Goyco [lead vocals/songwriter], Jason Cruz [lead guitar/songwriter/background vocals], and Freddy Nieves [drums]. The recent addition of Krystle Nazario [bass/background vocals] has made the band complete. All four members of Doubledge are also members of the praise and worship ministry of Calvary Christian Fellowship. It was this ministry that brought these four extraordinarily gifted ministers together. Front man Efrain began writing songs while the other founding members, Jason and Freddy collaborated with him and put music to the lyrics. Out of Efrain's home studio emerged songs magnificently crafted, arranged, and inspired by God. After a year of writing, Doubledge recorded and produced a demo of five songs. The demo included songs such as "More To Life", "Test", and "Unconditional". They began responding to ministries interested in their press kit and soon after God began opening doors for them to go beyond their home studio into the fulfillment of His plan for their lives. However, the absence of a bass player made going out to minister difficult. Krystle has been a long time friend of the band. She began helping Doubledge minister live and she quickly became passionate about joining the band. The guys also felt a connection and soon after welcomed her as a permanent member. Now, with the band complete, Doubledge ministers whenever possible. This band delivers an anointed and powerful live performance. They understand the importance of allowing themselves to be used by the Holy Spirit. Efrain is the assistant director and one of two worship leaders on the worship team of Calvary Christian Fellowship. The call of God over Efrain's life to be a worshiper is evident in his unique ability to write songs and arrange music. His strong presence on stage greatly reflects his powerful testimony, and his rough yet smooth voice captures every ear in the room. The way his heart beats with the drum and his voice bounces off the guitar demonstrates how God used him to create the unity within the band. Jason is truly an accomplished musician. Along with the guitar he can play 8 other instruments. He is very high-spirited and motivated and he reflects that on stage through his creativity on the guitar. Done with accuracy and pure worship, his anointing and talent creates the very music that stands strong behind the voice that calls you out. Krystle's simple yet heart-pounding bass is what fuels the depth of this band. Her ability to create such a mind-blowing sound out of her instrument and still sing like an angel is matchless. She demonstrates what it truly means to worship the Lord with a pure heart. Freddy's very calm yet neat and clean drumming skills hold the aggressiveness of the band. His anointed filled open high-hats and those heart beating bass-drum kicks combined with a raging guitar and a deeper then life bass is what keeps the ears drawn. While ministering together on the worship team this group of friends developed a close relationship. Their call to worship God and their desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through rock music has created a bond that has turned into what we now know as Doubledge...
