Artist description
Camera is a colorful band from Fresno, California that utilzes emotional and heartfelt lyrics blended with soulful instrumentals to create a sound that is so diverse and unique that you cannot pin it down and shove it into one genre or label. Many bands only offer one type of sound, lyrical content, or emotional setting. Camera utilzes the full spectrum as a means of achieving sonic balance and a vibe that is closer to reality than bleeding heart emo or slit your wrists angst rock. Artists must live their music or else they lack credibility. Camera lives their music 100% and puts on a live show that is second to none. Camera has genrated a huge buzz in Fresno and has landed shows where they have opened for bands like Adema and headlined along side Small Town Killer and Biotica. Current plans are playing as many shows as possible and speading the love worldwide. |

Artist History
Camera was formed in December of 2002. Prior to that they were called "A.D.D" Mark Chavez of Adema tried out and was a singer for A.D.D group before getting signed with Arista Records. Bassist Beak and Joel have been playing together since 1997, later recruiting Cracky in 2001. After countless singer auditions, the band turned to their good friend Mark Chavez (lead singer of Adema) for help in finding the singer they needed. While working at Bay 7 Studios in Los Angeles, California, Kevin was given an instrumental demo by Mark and asked to sing on it. The band began making trips to L.A and rehearsing for a demo which was produced in late December at John Davis' home studio with Mark producing. This band just recently opened for Adema on three shows in Palo Alto, Chico, and Reno,Nevada during the Adema promotional tour for their new album. Artists must live their music or else they lack credibility. Camera isn't interested in hating life every second, nor are they interested in making saccarine pop that has no substance and is the product of a false peppiness that is so fake that it just screams Prozac "We are about the good and the bad and we try to use our music as a means of livng it up and getting more positive things from life than negative. We work, play and think outside the box, so it only made sense that our music should reflect that. When it came down to writing our music we knew we wanted something that truely represents us and something that WE can be proud of at the end of the day. If your music isn't you, then how do you face your fans or yourself? If you can't wake up and be happy with your own reflection in the mirror, then what is the point of living? We believe that their is an introspective, playful, and creative element missing from modern music. We try to always switch it up and keep the fans coming back for more" said vocalist Kevin Haviv .
Camera doesn't disappoint on ANY level. |

Press Reviews
"The transitions were tight, the vocals were strong, the hooks were inventive and best of all, Camera's frontman had amazing stage presence. He was charismatic and engaging without giving the impression that he was trying hard to do so." - Concert Review from www.thesynthesis.com
