Artist description
The September debut EP release, "Room 109",
will brand the band's energetic sense of pop-rock
and indie influence. Similar to bands like Yellowcard,
Brand New, Taking Back Sunday and Further
Seems Forever, Shotgun Vegas looks forward to
much touring and future releases.
"Room 109" will be available directly through the

Artist History
Shotgun Vegas was formed in July of 2003. After
a fall-out with their previous bass player, the guys
from Playing for Keeps were on the look-out for
a new permanent member to fill the rhythm position.
A few months earlier, a band from a couple cities
away were calling it quits. Marking the end of
Waiting for Autumn, bass player and band manager,
Joe Miller moved onto playing in other bands, filling
in here and there but primarily focusing on a solo-
career. The call came through a mutual friend Beth
VanBoxtel, who was managing Joe. Out of boredom
but mostly sympathy toward the horrible process of
auditioning new members, Joe agreed to sit in,
temporarily, for the shows PFK had booked until they
could find someone to fill the position permanently.
The "magic" every musician hopes to find in their
band was evidently clear. Everyone knew what
needed to be done. Thus, the end of Playing for
Keeps and Waiting for Autumn gave birth to the
beginning of something new...Shotgun Vegas.
