Artist History we have a combined musical talent lasting the last 20 years, our influences span many musical styles and genres from baroque and classical to speed metal and death metal we have been working together for almost a year. we have approx. 20 different songs in various stages of production. The name "KVASIR" comes from Scandinavian and Germanic Mythology. According to the legend, the waring houses of gods came together around a large bowl. In respect and desire for peace, they spat into the bowl. From the spit rose a giant (Kvasir-the 'K' is silent). He was a symbol of peace and prosperity. But, as with many gods throughout world religions, the peace did not last long. Kvasir was murdered by his own creators and they drank his blood. However, the blood intoxicated them. Their intoxication inspired poets.
