Artist description The band Mother Leeds began in lead singer Jimi Storm's head. He named the band after he did a book report on the Jersey Devil in high school. His multitalented abilities have led him and his heavy metal band to victory. Backed by his high school friend John Lazaro on guitar, they started Mother Leeds in 2000. Dominating vocals, heavy leads, and a tight drummer and bass player, they're taking no prisoners! Storm's patience has completely run out. Hence, the 2 albums that you see before you. Pretty much, the music speaks for itself. They are currently in the process of writing the 3rd album which will remain untitled at this time. But rest assured, it will be just as heavy as the first two. The debut album "Mother Leeds" has made some noise. Their song "Red Rose" is represented by a highly respected publishing company. The track "Sally's Tomb" from their second album "Postcards From Hell" has also grabbed the attention of the publishing company. Mother Leeds' first album has won an ASCAP award in the heavy metal category. Their music is heavy in-your-face fucking metal all the way. The Storm has cometh....and he's pissed off.
