Artist History Vera Darling was born in Argentina and moved to the United States at age eleven. Her Father, Rev. Dr. Juan Carlos Ortiz had her perform for the first time at his church at the age of nine. She has been performing ever since. "As I was growing up, my faith was very strong. Then the rough teenage years came when Iwas trying to decide which road to take. I finally chose to surrender my life completely to Him and He made me a new person," Vera writes on the liner notes of her CD, "Walking by your side...".
