Artist History Gravity Crush was formed in 1999 in the sleepy town of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Wendy Jans, on lead vocals features powerful, yet sensual vocals lingering with traces of americana and edgy rock.... Chris Hedman contributes compelling, edgy guitar licks with vibrant and dynamic solos.... Tom Parker's solid effort results in innovative, smooth bass lines that could stand on their own.... Dan Tannehill contributes fervent, authentic drum sounds, setting a unique mood for each and every song. Gravity Crush has never let their midwestern location affect their drive or limit their capacity to move beyond the rock and roll norm to create a sound that is all their own. Feisty and emotive one minute and intimate and vulnerable the next, Gravity Crush was recently honored as the regional winners of the National Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, receiving a coveted slot on the Van's Warped Tour in June.
