    Artist description
Dr. Zaius blends tight rhythm, melodic horns, and deep, soothing female vocals to create a ska sound that meshes the funk, punk, soul, and reggae backgrounds of it's members. Songs range from the poppy to the highly Carribean, to the soulful, and every once and a while to the punkish. We're not your typical third wave ska band.

    Artist History
Dr. Zaius was formed by Georgetown University freshmen in 1998 by kids who got bored with school real fast. After going through a periodcharacterized by the inability to hold onto either a singer or a saxaphonist, Dr. Zaius has finally secured it's lineup and moved off campus to the DC scene. Who knows what the future holds beyond that?
