Artist description
Dragstrip Courage is totally phat. They love a good melody and some loud guitars. They also have some really great songs and their goal is to set those songs on fire and watch them burn, baby. Using harmonies, piano, organs (vital), analog synth sounds and other such experimentation, Dragstrip Courage enhances the guitar/bass/drums model so as to make their songs texturally interesting and sonically challenging. |

Press Reviews
(The Noise-181) "Scott Janovitz’s lush Paul McCartney-esque pop yoked to elaborate arrangements and a commercially viable presentation reminds me a lot of ‘60s LA pop-psychsters The Merry Go Round and their presiding genius Emmett Rhodes, especially on a song like "Scarce;" Janovitz writes songs that are majestic in a similar way..." |
