Press Reviews
"Scare Factor" Reviews: Bottle has mastered chugging and thumping! Mark Jenkins, Washington Post. ******** Rarely does a bands material stand strong for a total of ten tracks. Bottle does it with ease. Punishing chords are counterbalanced very well by Barton's flip-n-snotty voice. Bottle's sound is hook-laden with a lyrical senability that not only fits today's scene, it practically out does it. Scare Factor voted top 10 releases of the year. Directions for this musical libation? Guzzle it! Mark Bounds, Music Monthly Magazine JAN 97. ******** Bottle brings back to us old school crunch mixed nicely with today's heavy grindcore. Ada Ruiz, The Melodia, APRIL 97 ******** Scare Factor, with a deep lyrical sensability, conveys what most of us think about, but few are comfortable enough to reveal. Larry Sakin, President, Kept in The Dark Records ****** ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** "Whatever" Reviews: Bottle's style goes from White Zombie to Megadeth to Black Sabbath, but make no mistake there is plently of originality. Wild guitar leads (not over done), heavy rhythm and real vocals. Rich, Pulp Radio Magazine, March 97 ******** With a sound of Metallica and White Zombie, the metal edge prevails leaving you with a really groove inspried disc. Not for the weak, wussie listeners! New Brand Magazine, MAY 97. ******** Bottle's live show is Phenomenal...Michelle Ravera, WBZU 104.7 The Buzz, Richmond, VA. |
