Artist History
Once upon a time, there lived a young girl named Tammy Lynn, who grew up thinking Elvis and Johnny Cash were her Dads...With this in mind, the young girl began to play her guitar. Although she was influenced by her papas, what came out of her fingers sounded more like Ace Frehley and Jimmy Page. For Tammy Lynn, this was the beginning of Battershell. So what was this California girl to do except get on a bus with only her guitar and travel across the country to the Big Apple. And that's just what she did. Shortly after reaching New York, Tammy Lynn found kick ass drummer Charlie Lauth and ass kicking bassist/backing vocalist Hannah Head. Battershell was now a throbbing unit. Supporting two full length records and an EP, they tour the universe collecting fanatically freaky fans along the way. Battershell dubbed the luvable lot "Luv Punks" and entitled their newest release after them. |

Press Reviews
"Surprisingly fresh and giddy, the latest album from the New York punk/pop trio actually manages to be melodic, playfully offensive and raucus all at the same time." - Andrew Flynn, Edmonton Journal |
