Artist description
"My own feelings about the direction in which jazz should go are that there should be much less stress on technical exhibitionism and much more on emotional content, on what might be termed humanity in music and the freedom to say all that you want."
-Booker Little

Artist History
A Mendocino County native, Sean Moore became a music fan thanks to the music of Wes Montgomery, Wayne Shorter, Jim Hall, John Coltrane, Eric Dolphy and Ornette Coleman. Perennially unsatisfied with his instrument, they give Moore examples to explore more than just the guitar in guitarist. Sean's now looking for inspiration through the compositions of Dave Douglas, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Monder, Jim Black, and distinct innovators such as Nels Cline. He's attending Sonoma State University under the guidance of Mel Graves, Randy Vincent, and George Marsh.

Press Reviews
He who binds to himself a joy
Doth the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in Eternity's sun rise.
-William Blake
