Artist History
PhoNoMeTrics, a north Houston based band, started early in 94 as a pathetic cover band in their 9th grade year, covering such hits as "when I come around" by GreenDay in Kingwood high school's cafeteria.
It was shown early that they had balls but throughout high school Crownover began to use those balls a little better by turning out funky covers and originals that got the band major ass tapage up until the end of senior year (98). Senior year was also when bass player Patrick Ramano quit and Marc Power took over...
Once graduation came around Marc moved to Austin to pursue college. Throughout the last 5 years Frank and Chris have kept in close contact jamming together while pursing other interests such as college and delivering pizzas.
May 03 Marc moved back to Houston after graduating and hooked back up with Chris and Frank. The newly reformed band came together this time creating unique improvisational music that sounded like nothing they had ever played before..
So now the tale begins...
