Artist History David Vaughn is a 19 year-old born and raised in Southern California. From his first act, at the age of six to his latest solo debut, he has entertained audiences all over the world. David Vaughn has performed in many shows all over California, Hawaii, London, and Paris, to name a few. In high school he was part of an award winning classical ensemble, a few barbershop quartets, and also took voice lessons on how to sing popular music. At the age of 16, David wrote and recorded his first set of songs. Much of this collection was synthesized and didn’t have the sound that David was searching for. Consequently, he never fully produced this set and only a small amount of copies were distributed to friends and family. The following year, David produced a few new songs to form an EP entitled, “Unconcerned Interest”. This was a large hit among his friends, classmates, and family in that it was very mainstream pop, with a funky flare, hip hop beat, and catchy melodies. Now on his leading year of writing and producing songs, David is looking to make his career professional. This year he is finishing his first independently released album entitled “Dancing Again”. David Vaughn, Erin Cayabyab, and Alan Willardson produce the 13-track compilation with a strong sense of popular rock that is both danceable and unique.
