Artist History
Eric Dorn has been influenced by music his entire
life. In particular, he appreciates jazz in all
forms, ranging from its pure roots to modern forms
of hip-hop and acid jazz. Following this passion,
he has studied with Berklee College of Music grads
and various guitar masters. Eric continues to
further his education and guitar techniques through
his studies and devotion to his instrument. In Aug.
of 2003 he will attend Berklee College of Music,
focusing on contemporary jazz. On a professional
level, Eric has performed in several Jazz, Funk,
and Soul Bands in Chicago and in Metro-Denver area.
Currently, he is explring a solo project and an
acoustic duet,which provide opportunities to compose,
as well as, imrovise arrangements that showcase his
multi-faceted Jazz guitar techniques and style.In
addition, he is working with the Shelby Johnson Band
and is enthusiastic about devoting his talents and
bringing his blend of jazz and blues to fuse with the
unique sound of this group. |
