Artist History
Age is just a number. That’s how the old adage goes. But not in East Wenatchee. Save The Hero is a four piece punk / metal band thriving on their passion, humor and emotions to make the music they love.
Having played primarily in the Yakima / Wenatchee area, Save the Hero is broadening their horizons and coming over the mountains. They are playing nearly every weekend at venues such as The Roxy, The Robin’s Nest, LAN Café and Club Impact, locations ranging from Bremerton to Lynnwood to Tacoma. Have a gig and they will play. Save the Hero is currently planning to record their demo August 2003 at the acclaimed Orbit Audio in Seattle.
Save the Hero came together by combining two former groups: Publicity Stunt and The Broads. Some think that nothing good can come from the internet… Save the Hero proves this wrong. One day while chatting on the net, David and Bryant met and decided to “jam†the next day. They’ve been together musically since. Chris, James and Bryant are classmates and so it wouldn’t be long until the four got together. Now as best friends, the four practice incessantly and create music nonstop.
…†…Without music we probably would be in some skate park … Music has enriched all of our lives … We all do music cause we love it.†The song “Save the Hero†(and the bands namesake) relates to today’s life and about what happens when your “hero†is no longer there to save the day. People falter and “politicians fail,†once people realize this they understand that life is what you make of it one day at a time.
Oh… and if you’re still curious. These seasoned veterans of philosophy and life are all 15 or younger.
