Artist History Joe was born on November 3, 1984 in the Phillipines. The place was called Olangapo City. He then moved to the island of O'ahu at the age of 2 in a town that was called Ewa Beach. O'ahu is located in the island chain called Hawaii. He had a brother that unfortunately passed at 3 months. At 5 his parents divorced at he was forced to live with his father. His father was in the military for many years and had caused him to be very strict. Joe couldn't go outside and talk to anyone or even see anyone, not even his mother. At around seven Joe started playing the piano at the neighbors house. Joe snuck out of the house everyday to play music when his father was at work. Joe was somewhat an outcast. In elementary school and middle school he was made fun of. For some reason though he was looked down upon as much as looked up upon. He had friends too but at the same time not many people liked him. They made fun of him but he ignored it most of the time. He got into a couple fights and really didn't like his life too much. Ever since the divorce he wished he was dead. Then one day at around the age of 14 he picked up a guitar that he bought with lawn mowing money. He taught himself Mary had a little lamb and started working off of that. Shortly after that, he moved to Oceanside California where he still lives. He was influenced by not just bands like Blink 182 but friends and local bands. One of the bands that he was very influenced by was Equal To None. He hung out with them at school and taught him many things. Other bands too taught him many things. He learned so many different styles and types of music that he started playing everything from slow acoustic rock to rap and hip hop. One of his friends, Danny, taught him in greater detail on how to not just play the guitar but also the bass and the drums and also vocals. Today, Joe, an El Camino High School graduate wants to perform at coffee shops and clubs around San Diego. He also teaches many from young to old on how to play instruments. This self-taught musician inspires to be one of San Diego's most successful musicians.
