    Artist History
"Finally Unfinished" is the first release of the National Radio's "Top A/C Artists Up and Coming" Jeremy Scott. Since the release Jeremy has performed with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and toured his solo gigs through cafe's around the state including Acoustic Cafe. A Connecticut native, Jeremy started his formal music training in the third grade, when he took up the violin, that he currently plays with the notable RHS orchestra under the direction of 4-time Grammy nominee Mitch Farber. Jeremy became interested in the piano at a young age, and began studies with a variety of teachers. Playing the piano struck a chord in his songwriting. As a ten-year old, he acquired a guitar, which until this day never leaves his hands. It became his all-consuming passion and suprisingly soon came to write songs. By the age of 15, he had penned over 100 songs. Jeremy's main musical influences include Sting, the Beatles and the Dave Mathews Band. These influences left him writing arrangements with a mellow and melodic songwriting tone, backed by acoustical guitars. This mix of influences enabled Jeremy to create a different musical style. Jeremy demoed his songs on an 8-track which was eventually placed before master guitarist and founder of Riff Rat Records John "Ratso" Gerardi in the summer of 2001. Impressed, Ratso responded with optimism. Asking his father to be his manager, the 15-year-old Scott stepped into the studio to record his first album. Long, hard studio work generated a musical output he had never thought possible. In April 2001 Jeremy released this first CD under the RiffRatRecord label entitled "Finally Unfinished." This CD has been receiving critical acclaim due to its upbeat melodies and meaningful lyrics. He has been attracting media attention, including newspaper and radio interviews, for his musical skill and accomplishments at such a young age. John "Ratso" Gerardi, president of Stamford's Lenox Sound Recording Studio stated during a recent radio interview that Jeremy is "bringing melody back to music." "Finally Unfinished," recorded at Lenox Sound Studio in Stamford, Connecticut features Jeremy's songs performed by him and band of veteran musicians, whom have played with some of the greats such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Diana Ross. "The slow, [string]-centered 'It All Starts Tonight,' displays the softer side of Jeremy's music, the more upbeat 'Red Skies and the New Day,' and 'What You Do For Me' exhibit faster melodies intertwined with thoughtful lyrics." Ned Canning, Ridgefield Press. "The progressive chord changes were stunningly creative and smooth, uniquely crafted in a manner unusual for such a young artist. [His career] can only go up." John "Ratso" Gerardi, President of Riff Rat Records, LLC Since the exciting release of "Finally Unfinished," Jeremy has been featured in various radio interviews and performaces. In October, Jeremy performed with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. In Novemeber, Jeremy was playing variety of solo gigs. In December, he was asked to score the remake of "Our Town" for the Director's Film Festival

Incredible Display of Some Incredible Young Talent Reviewer: Kristen Frasch An exciting, creative and intelligent array of music and lyrics! Not only is this a treat to sit back and take in, but as a mother of teen boys, it's a dramatic and inspiring encouragement to them to remember that anything's possible, at any point in your life, if you put your heart, energy and talent into it. I'm looking forward to Jeremy's next release, and to following his career as one of his fans!! WONDERFUL!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Reviewer: Linda This CD is now my favorite!!. It is easy to become hooked on this music because the lyrics are very heartfelt. Jeremy is to be commended on his songwriting ability!! When I hear his songs, I find myself singing along and smiling! I think one of the reasons that this CD has become so popular so fast is because it appeals to all ages. This CD is played at high school and college dances and parties and enjoyed by all!! 0riginal, solid compositions, lyrics, instrumentals/vocals and arrangements Reviewer: Stephen Steinhaus, PhD Great CD!! Finally Unfinished is a refreshing, honest and original work devoid of the pretentious, sensationalism that young, new artists typically use to differentiate themselves. It has a new and fresh sound that integrates styles from rock, jazz and even a hint of classical; effectively utilizing tight vocal harmonies, sophisticated orchestration, soulful horns and crisp string arrangements. The lyrics are often intently insightful and at other times just plain fun. Vocals are crystal clear, pleasant to listen to and modulated to reflect different themes and messages. I found the instrumentals and musicians to be superb and the arrangements incredibly tight. I have played Finally Unfinished numerous times and with each play hear more of what Jeremy Scott has to say and enjoy the music. I can't stop listening! Reviewer: Amy This is one of the best CDs I own! I love listening to it--the music just makes me feel good. I find myself waking up in the morning and thinking that I can't wait to play the CD. I think the lyrics do an amazing job of expressing some of the most impactful experiences and feelings in life. I love the variety of music on this CD--Turn Around Again is my favorite song, although I find it very difficult to narrow it down to just one favorite! I am definitely in line for Jeremy Scott's next CD--I hope it won't be too long!! Doesn't sound "Unfinished" to me!!! Reviewer: Susan This is a great CD! It's got everything...great lyrics AND music. The songs are musically complex, but communicate simple messages with a lot of heart. It seems everyone around me is playing this CD and LOVES it. My neighbor told me to get it. My boss likes it so much that he put it as the background music on the company answering machine. I can't wait until Jeremy "finishes" his next CD!!!! I love this CD!!!! Reviewer: Erica Jeremy's CD is unbelievable! I absolutley cannot beleive that this was written by a highschooler. I love the music, lyrics, amazing melodies, and just everything about it. It is THE BEST album I have and he is sooooo hott too! This is a CD worth buying!
