Artist History The Second Chance All Star was formed by Samuel Brown in the summer of 2003. Tired of the angst- ridden, power-chord driven sound of the East Coast punk scene, Brown decided to pursue a side project where he could explore the more emotional and musical nuances of the genre. Armed with a grand piano and a red pen, Brown wrote more than twenty songs over the course of eight intense months. As soon as he entered the studio, his side project rapidly exploded into a full-blown recording group which pumped out one rock-solid, hard-hitting tune after another.
