Artist History Executive Producer Guy "G-Ster" Giuliano was looking for fresh talent for his start-up music project, and was given Lindsay's demo. "I was seriously surprised she hadn't been signed by a label" - Giuliano said. "Her vocal range is incredible, and she really nails down an urban groove". Giuliano teamed Lindsay with rap artist JBlaze to do the collaboration of "Soul Mates". After one day of a recording session, the duo was able to create magic in the studio. Lindsay has a very Adult Contemporary soulful sound, which really makes "Soul Mates" stand out as a duet track.
