Artist History
I have always loved music. There is no greater
release in life than listening to a good tune or
trying to bring the music in my head to life. So
on most days you will find me either sitting at my
computer guitar across my lap, headphones on my
ears and pen in hand or ... lost in one of my
favorite songs ... for me that is peace...
I began my musical career learning to play ode
to joy on the recorder way back in elementary
school. Then it was ten years of musical training
in the school band, none of which has been of much
use. I began writing my own music in college as
a hobby. I learned to use Calkwalk and composed
in midi writing mostly for the piano. I began
to use other instruments as the availability of
usable sounds for midi increased. Because I
could never get the guitar sounds I wanted via
midi I decided to learn to play one for myself.
Now I have moved away from composing via midi
and using midi based programs. I play and record all
of my own guitar tracks. Most everything else
is played via either an oxygen 8 keyboard or a
yamaha wx5 wind controller and then run through
a roland JV 1010 synth or through a variety of
soft synths that I have purchased. I compose,
perform, record, produce and mixdown all of my
own music. I also write my own lyrics and sing.
I am a songwriter at heart. My goal to to write
music for others to perfrom.

It's just me ... I enjoy being locked away left
to my own creativity. It is only when I am
finished that I feel comfortable sharing music
with others |
