Androgyny is an all original acoustic duo based in Melbourne Australia. Formed by prolific singer/songwriters Janine Marshall and Neil Robertson,the duo has a sound that has echoes of the fabulous Indigo Girls or the wonderful Neil Young, however, their musical style is truly their own. Androgyny is a pair of accomplished performers who are passionate about their music. They provide thoughtful modern songs backed by beautifully harmonising guitars and vocals. |

Androgyny was formed in 2001 by Neil Robertson and Janine Marshall, who had previously played in several Melbourne based rock bands. |

Neil Robertson is a prolific singer/songwriter with hundreds of songs to his credit. He is a talented political lyricist and cites Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Paul Kelly and Midnight Oil among his many influences. Janine Marshall is an exciting singer, bass player and guitarist who has been writing and arranging her own compositions since childhood. She cites Kate Bush, Garbage, Abba and Motown Music among her past and contemporary influences. |
