Artist description Walking alone on a dark night - the sky is clear, the stars are bright, and the moon is full; showing you the way. As you wander the wooded forest and the mist-covered foothills, you feel an unknown presence; and it frightens you. You pick up your pace to a jog, but you still feel this thing following you. Now you’re running; you’re heart pounds with your pace as the being chases you. You look back, see nothing, but you keep running - you still feel it coming after you. Finally you make it home, run inside, and lock the door. But what was that feeling you had, that thing following you? Was it even anything at all? It will be forever unknown to you. This is the premise of Shadows Requiem; highlighting the many things around us that are unknown to us. Humans fear things they do not know; all around us, and even inside ourselves. Shadows Requiem hails from Cincinnati - a city in the asshole of America many call Ohio. With heavy influences from Swedish Thrash, Shadows Requiem brings a brutal and aggressive sound to a growing US Metal scene, hoping to once-again bring the US to Metal greatness.
