Artist History "Fossick: to search hard for anything of value" We are four guys that love to rock with music that is all original. We have a strong commitment to playing our own material, because we have plenty to go around as a band with two songwriters/vocalists. This gives us a complimentary and dynamic sound in our music. We all have unique qualities as musicians, but we pride ourselves in the ability to blend our skills and talents together putting the spotlight on the band as a whole and not on any individual member. Since Fossick began in October 1999 the core members who had never had any band experience have grown to establish a unique sound that is no carbon-copy of any band. The beginning core of the group consisted of three guys that basically grew up together (Josh, Kevin, and Heath). Later they added their drummer Ryan and have been making their mark on the local music scene ever since. Sadly, Kevin left the band in the summer of 2002 for a job opportunity, and since then Buzz has been added to the group for his keyboard to fill in that gap. And as any good band, Fossick has evolved. They have shifted from a focus on acoustic rock, to a harder sound that incorporates more dynamics with the recent addition of Buzz on the keyboard. Music and lyrics are written by either Josh or Heath on both an individual and collective level. Over the last four years Fossick has accumulated over 35 original songs and all signs point to, that the best is yet to come. Fossick has one album entitled "Broke Down" and we are currently working on a second CD.
