Artist History
POD 7 has been a band in the making since the 1930’s and the invention of the re-circulating ball-point penguin. Started by the original Brian Epstien ( not his Beatles counter-part Brian Epstein ) in the Deep South or Illinois, POD 7 was originally composed of 17 separate members and 2 conjoined members. After the twins were separated, they kicked out/killed 16 of the other members, leaving only the 4th drummer. This placed Ryan Brady on tambourine, Joey Stevens on Moog, and Pat Frank on background vocals. Realizing quickly that no one wanted to hear and band made up of a Moog, tambourine and background vocals, Epstien quickly killed the band members and replaced them with clones that played proper instruments. Now, the melodious sounds of a piano, bass and drums combined with three part harmony fills the air of Wheeling, Illinois. While POD 7 still can’t afford anything like drums, voices or talent, three out of 8 moms like them, even though the moms are Mrs. Brady, Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Stevens. And all of the Special Ed kids like them too. Check POD 7 out for yourself and judge them, please! We are sure you will either enjoy it or won’t enjoy it. Remember, POD 7: Better than soup! |
